Tumblr is an excellent place to find candid critiques and feedback on your product. I’ll bet Tumblr is working on a few of these and has had meetings about the rest. There are smart people who work at Tumblr, but they have to listen to people like this to find consumer opinions.
While you are building a product, treasure advice like this. Seek out critiques, keep a search alert for when your product is mentioned on twitter or tumblr. Listen to the people who are using your software. Many of them have ideas on how to make your product great. You users will help you to not make crap!
